The museum is a center for the preservation of the unique traditional culture of the Japanese sword, which is not only a weapon but also a work of art, and for the promotion of the Japanese sword not only in Japan but also throughout the world. It is a must-see for anyone interested in learning more about Japanese swords.

Hours: 9:30 – 17:00 (Admission until 16:30)
Closed: Mondays (if Monday is a national holiday, the museum is open on Monday and closed the following Tuesday), exhibition change periods, year-end and New Year holidays
